Godaddy.com which is the official website of Web hosting giant Go Daddy is currently out of service (June 13th,2011) due to technical difficulties.
Unlike Sony that was hacked by an unknown hackers, Godaddy that has become famous for their very sexy Super Bowl advertisements that features beautiful superstars such as IndyCar driver Danica Patrick and WWE Diva Candice Michelle and which ironically sells hosting for websites, domain names and provides domain management was down because the enterprise that was founded in 1997 by Bob Parsons was fixing their monstrous servers.
On its Twitter page, a Go Daddy representative tweeted several times the following messages:
We’re working on it. Thanks for your patience. We’re directing to godaddymobile.com for now. You can manage most things there.
You can manage your hosting through http://hcclogin.com until the main site is back up. Thanks for your patience. ^C
Godaddy’s down time had millions of clients complaining about the fact that they were unable to conduct their e-business sales, manage their sites, buy/sell domains nor redirect servers.
Update:
It seems that the Godaddy technicians were competent enough to solve the matter, the Twitter account for GoDaddy.com, Inc., has been updated with one last message that read:
Our site is back up, thank you for your support everyone.
Godaddy is back up for business.
